We had a serious infestation of carpenter bees in wigs, consoles, latillas and other wooden decorations of our Pueblo style home. Although I bought these two spray bottles to store bleach for other uses, we ended up using one for the homemade citrus potion we learned from the internet. The dual spray or jet options were just what we needed: the stream option allowed us to direct the potion into holes and crevices in wood from a foot or two. With this control, our homemade citrus potion seemed to work almost as well on our dorsal portal as the highly toxic insecticide (BASF PT Phantom II) we used on our fore wing. The vapor remained effective for several days, despite the viscosity of our potion. We haven't tried bleach yet, and other reviews have warned us to wash and spray the mechanism immediately after use. Three stars for durability just because the container is glass. Glass has the advantages of low absorption and easy cleaning, but we must be careful not to drop the device, especially when spraying stairs.
