High quality, useful attachments, good price, great guarantee

Just got this from Revain the other day. After years of using cordless trimmers (and shavers), I decided to go with an all-electric one, and I'm glad I did. I got another brand of electric for less money but it got too hot after a few minutes of use. This one is different in many ways. First of all, it's a solidly made block with a good thick cord. All three knives in the set are finely ground and cut well. Also, all of the attachments are useful for those who need them, but I've found I only use a few as I'm pretty bald and won't be cutting a lot of hair. I wouldn't recommend them for cutting thick hair, but they do pretty much everything. I mainly use it on the moustache, beard, sideburns, eyebrows and around the ears. This trimmer is pretty quiet (everyone makes noise). Also, it doesn't even get hot after a few minutes of use, and it's very easy to hold and lightweight. The 20 piece set has everything including a carrying case. Performance aside, the nice thing is that it's backed by a 5-year warranty. Others have a year or two. Out of the dozens of items I've ordered from Revain, this is already one of my favorites as it's just for me and I plan to use it several times a week. Installing attachments can be a bit confusing until you get the hang of it. It says to use a drop or two of oil every month or so (oil is included), but my experience is around once a week. They seem to make the blades sharper and last longer. You can buy light machine oil (like 3-in-1) or mineral oil, or Wahl sells its own machine oil. I love it and am so happy I never have to put in and throw out batteries again!
