I bought these lights to balance the lighting in my studio. I bought a dimmer separately just in case as one review mentioned that these lamps give the impression of daylight outdoors. Luckily I also bought separate mounting clips (B01BH4EMLK) as I didn't pay enough attention to the product listing and didn't realize that mounting hardware is included. I started with mounting clips, which I bought separately, realizing I needed a lot of these anyway and preferred their size. They fit PERFECTLY with these lights and even grip them easily so you don't need three hands to install these things. Unfortunately, I eventually ran out of them, so I decided to finish with the included mounting clips. This is absolutely TERRIBLE. They don't fit as tightly as the others, making it difficult to pull the string lights yourself to keep them straight. I highly recommend having a second person nearby if you want to use the included mounting clips as you will need help if you don't want to freak out with those awful clips. Anyway, I finally managed to set up the lights. They really balanced the lighting in my studio and gave it a nice warm glow that is pleasing to the eye. No dimmer required. I also set it up for voice control with Echo and am very happy with the results. But yeah, as happy as I am with the headlights, the included mounting clips absolutely pissed me off and really dragged me through the last stretch. The fact that the GOOD clamps are made by the same company AND are sold separately AND are clearly designed for use with these lights really disgusts me. If they contained good enough clips of lights to fit any foot or so, I'd give those lights five stars. This would provide a better installation experience.
