This is the perfect first electric toy for kids. It is very easy to put together and get up and running. Took me about 5 minutes before I had it set up so that my child could ride it. It comes with a push button for acceleration which is perfect for smaller children who are more hesitant in pressing on a "gas pedal." It is comfortable to sit in and fits my 3 year old perfectly. Older children might struggle fitting in it though.There are a couple of challenges for this device. First, the battery life is not great and only lasts about 25 minutes before it needs to be recharged. I thought this would be worse than it is. As it turns out, that is about the limit of my son's attention span. Second issue is that the steering is a little tight so he does struggle making sharper turns. That said, my son absolutely loves his go cart and asks to ride it all the time!
