They work and for the cost it's good enough!

she threw in an old classic Land Rover, didn't want to spend much on high-quality sensors and they were intended as a 2nd track width anyway. I wanted something smaller that would have more options for mounting etc. What a surprise. They're so cheap it's hard to see how they'll sell for such a small amount. I removed the mounting plate and flush fitted them all into the dash, they look amazing and the sensor mounts are better than any other sensors I've installed over the years. Each works as intended, I always wrap vacuum line around the nylon lines to protect them and they fit well. I really like her. A few things: 1) They don't come with rubber covers to change the color of the bulbs. So if you want red or green for the lights, for example, get extra covers for each bulb. 2) I didn't really think about sweep and measurements. The coolant is long and the increments come out of the needle about 1/4 stroke at operating temperature. I prefer that all gauges point to the center line during normal operation for a quick view. It probably doesn't matter that much to most people, but as a transmission and mechanic, I'm picky about things like this. Most pressure gauges can work with full or half stroke etc. and that simply has to be selected beforehand. I'll take them again for those who want an inexpensive set that will last and have all the hardware etc.

Pros
  • good thing
Cons
  • A few little things
