[UPDATE]: I didn't want to give up. Other than that, the software is quirky. I finally have a motion sensor to start recording. Basically you need to set two schedules: (1) Schedule->Motion and (2) Alarm->Schedule. Why both? I do not know. Any. Is working. I also decided to access the internet without having to route the ethernet to my router. I simply had an inexpensive WiFi router and set it up as a bridge and connected both routers via WiFi. Network Test and Email Test. Did! We hope that the new firmware will eliminate the redundant scheduler. ************************************************** **** * * ********************Old entry*********************** ****** ***** *** **************** I have been testing this product for (3) days and cannot get any consistent or satisfactory results. The motion sensor worked when recording, but not without complaints; and today it just doesn't work anymore. watch the video The lowest sensitivity level (i.e. the most sensitive setting) and it didn't cause a HUGE Amazon van to drive by. The other test didn't even get the postman. Those other software related issues (reverse frame on playback and stop button not working) made me give up on this unfortunately. You really should fire your QA/QC and validation engineers. Zero stars doesn't seem like an option.
