Purchased this for topical use on the scalp for hair growth. The jury is still out on that but it did soften and lightly fragrance my hair. I would call this a medium weight oil, somewhere between almond oil and castor oil; it has presence with none of the stickiness. The smell is pumpkin spice but it's very faint. I used this after a henna w/ indigo treatment and it completely cancelled out that horrible herbal smell that can linger without overpowering me with scent. I'm really loving this oil. It doesn't make my scalp itch (I have a sensitive scalp) and it just seems to absorb perfectly. I would definitely buy this again.
