I purchased this item as a gift for a friend who was visiting 600 miles away. Before that I installed several LED sets without any problems. This is not the case with this set. The light bars went up with no problems. I thought I had set everything, not like this! I'm not sure if the power supply or the controller is defective, but the lights don't work. I made sure to note the correct polarity of the connections and there is power, there is power but there is no light. Difficult to return as the light strips are attached to the wall with the supplied self-adhesive backing.
