Good but bad noise cancellation

I have yet to try a pair of headphones that claim to have noise canceling that can actually do a good job (no I haven't tried really expensive brands but I will, rest assured, eventually) and these are no exception. First of all they are good and the battery is quite small and well camouflaged. The connection point for charging is really well designed and well hidden. I was sure the fork wouldn't fit, but I was wrong. Well done Fiat. The sound quality was actually pretty decent. Nothing special, mind you, but better than what I've been hearing through headphones lately. There's bass, albeit not very strong, but it's there, which I can't say about many modern headphones. Highs are good, mids are acceptable. The bass is a bit disappointing though, I have to say. I'll say they were stronger than my Galaxy Buds, that's all (and I was REALLY disappointed in them). Noise canceling is just plain bad. I hate to say this and I really wish it were better but sorry it's not. In fact, when I turned it on, I had a hard time telling the difference between the power on and the power off. And correct me if I'm wrong, but it should filter out those outside noises. now right? According to Box, it eliminates 95% of outside noise, which is a ridiculous lie. I'm guessing it filters maybe 20%, maybe 25% TOPS. It wouldn't be so obvious if they didn't assume the filter would filter out 95%, but that's a pretty bold claim and unfortunately she's conspicuously shallow in that ridiculous claim. Sorry but it's true. If you're really looking for noise-cancelling headphones, then you seriously need to look elsewhere. Without that crazy claim I'd say they're close to 5 stars, especially considering the price. But definitely no more than 3.
