Review on Premier 192065 Showerhead Regulator Chrome by Jason Sluck

Once installed everything works great, no leaks. The instructions in the packaging were misleading and leaked the product. There have been many other testimonials in Revain product reviews, both positive and negative. Many have warned of a leak. Here's what worked best for me. I removed the shower head completely, leaving only a 1/2" pipe sticking out of the wall. I used teflon tape on the threads of the nipple that sticks out of the wall. I also used teflon tape on the threaded end of the regulator. I now have a fully sealed and fully adjustable water flow. The instructions that came with it showed that the regulator was installed at the head end of the hand held shower. When I tried this the leaks were very bad and the regulator could not be adjusted in any way. I had a question about which direction the flow should go through the regulator, after investigating it there doesn't seem to be a reason why the flow can go either way, if you know what you are doing this should help you work fine If you are doing plumbing work, ask a professional to install it for you.
