Full disclosure. I first bought a Rode NT-USB condenser microphone and was very impressed with the sound quality. However, I had to return it as it didn't have a manual audio gain indicator and I found that the audio gain changed automatically when recording in Windows 10 and Google Chrome. Unfortunately I returned this mic due to this issue and after reading the reviews I decided on this mic. This microphone solves the problem of no audio auto gain by having a manual knob to control the audio input level. So I solved this problem. Overall the sound quality is top notch EXCEPT I have to say that I find the RODE's dynamic range a bit better if I could use it. I'm happy with this purchase, but I would invest in a RODE microphone. if the company released a USB version with an audio gain control that I could control.
