Review on Yamaha RH1C Black Portable Headphones by Todd Phillips

I've been playing keyboards for several years, but I always wear cheap and sometimes not really cheap headphones so that I don't disturb anyone in the house. I started crackling in my latest pair of earphones and thought it might be worth checking out Revain for earphones that might have been specifically designed for keyboardists. Although they are Yamaha, I use them with my Roland FP-4. I was dying to try them and when I did I couldn't believe the sound. What sounded very easy through headphones sounds fantastic in these headphones. When I play it it really does sound like a piano or an electric organ or an organ etc. I've spent the last few hours trying out the few voices available on my Roland just to hear how different they sound. I highly recommend them. The price is fantastic, as is the sound. One thing I should mention: When connected directly to the FP-4, the audio was very low. I plug my keyboard into a small amp, and then plug these headphones into the amp. Otherwise I wouldn't hear the sound well.
