Review on 🎧 3M Peltor X2A Overhead Hearing Protection Ear Muffs by Darryl Blumenthal

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Best comfortable soundproofing I've found.

These are by no means the first headphones I've tried to use to block noise. But they are the first to sit comfortably enough without pinching your head like a vise. They're still a little tight, but very secure and the pressure feels more spread out, which is a positive. I think over time I'll feel more comfortable. But in terms of comfort, it's really quite good. Other headphones (whatever you want to call them) are either super cheap, or broken, or incredibly tight and painful to my ears and head. I even had to disassemble one set to even put it on my head. They folded together and also took a minute to turn over. When I first put these headphones on, the world went absolutely still. For the first time I heard nothing. That was excellent. In that regard, I'm impressed. Does what it's supposed to and is well made. I find the design wonderful. The headphones are adjustable in size, but out of the box they fit me almost perfectly. The headphones are really big and wide in profile. And that's the only sacrifice. To be honest I think I would be too embarrassed to wear such a big hat in public if I had no other choice. actually I don't think it's that bad. I'm used to being looked at. And I live for myself and nobody else. So who cares? I fucking shouldn't. At least I would be happy. I'm ordering a few more but unfortunately with less decimal protection. But they look cooler, thinner and with a touch of neon yellow. I don't shoot guns and never will. I also don't work on noisy construction sites. I need protection in everyday life, including people, their voices and places. I'm usually pretty fashionable. But I appreciate and have to protect my health at the moment. Health comes first for me. I have nothing without him. Due to the even weight distribution, Princess Leia appears lighter than she looks. I need these headphones to block out noise. I suffer from sensory sensitivity so much that I am now almost completely isolated. misophonia. fibromyalgia. etc. It makes my life very difficult if I can't deal with the usual smells, sounds and lights or something that moves fast. It goes much deeper than that. There is also great grief and chronic pain. So these 3M Peltor headphones are the first step to finding peace in this increasingly noisy world. And something else. this will not affect everyone. But the inside of the headphones is oval and hollow to fit my ears comfortably. They fit snugly around my ears, protecting my left triple ear cartilage piercing. It always hurts me when I touch the area around the piercing. But the in-ear headphones fit really well and I appreciate that. I don't have a lot of pressure on my ears and that's vital. So yeah, I'm giving it 5 stars now. It's not perfect and doesn't feel particularly like a cozy fur scarf. But it's a huge improvement over my previous attempts at blocking noise. I confess that I have to get used to them and that they sometimes annoy me when I have to wear them for a long time. But whatever, this is a great start. If you need good soundproofing, this will no doubt be taken care of for you. I'm a petite woman just so you know. I see how they can fit almost anyone. women and men alike. teenagers too. I am very happy with this purchase. I just hope that one day the protection will be thinner in profile and overall softer and more comfortable without sacrificing the ability to block noise. Got it. It works. Spring.
