Not safe for doors
Inserts easily but not at all safe. If you want something to be secure, just screw it on. My son left the panel in place but didn't close the dog door properly. One of the dogs bumped into the door and bent the bottom of the panel as she climbed in, she didn't hold it at all and now it's bent to prevent it from sliding in. Oh, and there's a big gap between the panel. and doors at least 1/2 inch. I had to use a towel to keep out the cold drafts. not worth your money. I will not buy it again nor recommend it.
