Review on CableCreation [2 Pack] Mini SAS 36Pin (SFF-8087) Male To 4 SATA 7Pin Female Cable by Robert Aliraqi

I had to replace miniSAS with 4x SATA on my Dell PowerEdge T420 as the latter was kinked and stopped working. Since it shows it's used to connect to motherboards, I took a chance instead of paying $30 for the official part. This item works, but there is a communication error with the drives that makes it unusable in the T420. I then tried an ASR-2405 PCIe adapter and a pair of ASR-6405 and ASR-6405E PCIe adapters, with which this cable works very well.
