Review on 💾 High Speed MicroSD Card with Adapter - Silicon Power 32GB (5-Pack) by Brent Henderson

I have just received this Micro SD device with the SD adapter that came with it and I have to say that the data transfer speed on this card is definitely noticeable compared to the card I received in 2009. I can't say enough about the durability of this card. Maps, but I can give the facts here. At less than $10 ($8.99 to be exact), this is by far the cheapest MicroSD card I've found around here. I opened it up and as I said before it comes with an SD adapter (which I will end up using as the app only supports microSD for my devices, but still useful to have on hand). I first connected it to my computer and formatted it in exfat format. I then connected it to my phone, which didn't recognize it at first. So I did a quick google search and if you want to use it on your phone you really need to format it on the phone you are going to use and not format it on a computer first. All I had to do was go to Settings >> Storage >> Format. This takes up 3 seconds of your day. Now remember that just because something gives you 64GB of storage doesn't mean you actually get 64GB. This is similar to any type of electronic storage device. After formatting it on my phone, it offers 58GB of storage, which I think is really good for something that costs $9. Now, upon further review, this card is rated XC1. There are currently 3 types. The XC2 I've read is the newest but not used too much at the moment and there's also the XC3 which has a faster read/write compared to the XC1 which is this product. Now I really don't understand why top end products for ultra high definition cameras and the like need such fast read/writes, other than obviously there's a lot more data to be processed than someone like me would just put them on as extra storage my used phone. As mentioned, I had microSD memory cards, but I'm not sure as their review was, but at the time, back when we had 16GB and back in 2008/2009, that was quite a lot of space on such a small card. The truth is that it seems to be almost twice as fast as my old ones and its technically poor performance compared to XC3 cards. If you're using this for extra storage on a phone or netbook for example, like I did to gulp down movies downloaded from your phone to transfer to your netbook, this is perfect. If the company says you need a MicroSD XC3 card, this isn't for you. Check the manufacturer's information on which type of card to use. Finally, ask before mentioning it's hard to say how long it will last. If anything can happen according to Murphy's Law, it will happen given enough time. This applies to these cards even though they have no mechanical function. The card can only read/write or re-read/rewrite a limited number of times. This is due to the mining of metals to obtain the magnetic markers that these cards use. To be honest I feel safer using one of these than a USB powered external hard drive. I've had two of these in my life. The first lived 5 years, the last 7 years. In the near future I plan to buy an external SSD hard drive and back up files that I consider important to this microSD card. You can never have enough backups.
