Does not work in computer accessories and peripherals

As noted here, this product clearly suffers from poor/incorrect implementation of USB power delivery. My device was not working due to lack of power. This may or may not work in your circumstances. It would be great if the reviewer who disassembled and modified this thing would re-post more details about their mod and/or if anyone knows of another such adapter that works with devices that require power.

Pros

The USB to Type-C adapter is compact and easy to carry, designed and manufactured with high quality materials for maximum reliability and durability, plug and play.
