This unit is very bright and very BLUE for a freshwater plant aquarium. I've heard it has a high PAR at low altitudes, although I haven't personally measured it. I really liked the case that came with it, although it's quite sharp around the edges. Mounts are pretty unforgiving. I bought this with the Current USA Ramp Timer and it didn't work.
