Disappointing for humidifier parts and accessories
The installation was in a second bathroom next door the hallway where our laundry was washed machine stood / dehumidifier installed. Also, the switch is to the right of the sink. For some reason the fan turned on even when the shower wasn't being used. I tried different settings/sensitivities but gave up after a few days. My guess is that the proximity of the washing machine and/or sink created enough moisture to activate the switch. Instead I will most likely use a simple timer based switch. A neutral wire is required for installation. But overall the installation was pretty easy for anyone doing any wiring. The "box" of the switch was not too big and could fit in the electrical box with space.
