This waterproof mattress pad has a very pleasing look. Pretty soft and doesn't "wrinkle" like some others. When you see that something is made of "bamboo". . . You should automatically think of "artificial silk”. Bamboo can be used to make viscose, but it requires a lot of chemical processing. Just like trees are used to make paper. . .no again. . . with extensive chemical treatment. These days, the word "bamboo" has become a "buzzword" to make it sound "friendlier to the planet," but it really isn't. This mattress topper is machine washable. This mattress topper is made in China and sold on Revain by a Chinese company. At the current price of $26, that's at least double what it should be. If you shop around you can find them for about half the price of a twin size.
