A little big but very thick and heavy. My daughter is 5 years old and wears 5t. We ordered 5, it fits perfectly. They were warm enough to wear under my daughter's fleece overall when we camped in the Sierra National Forest in October when temperatures dropped to 38 degrees at night. We have sleeping bags that are rated for 0 degrees but with them under the Fleece are layered and our sleeping bags, my daughter didn't even mention that she was cold or cold. Which was a great relief for me.
