The braids are looser, creating a larger loop and a more medium braid. They frizzed much faster (I only had them after a week). It seems the consistency is going off, or I just got a bad bunch. Although they are still neat. I fixed them with hot water and sealed them with mousse and will still order them again. I didn't even open the rest of the packages I had. *** Well I love love love braids. I've had them for a week now and can't get enough of them. Due to Prime I received them in 2 days and ordered 2 packs knowing 7 packs was NOT IMPORTANT. Details: Color - 1B, Length - 22". There are 22 threads in one pack and 7 packs in one bundle or order. That means only 154 threads per order. I personally knew I would need about 230 threads. So I ordered 2 packs. Well I used 198 strands that's 9 packs. I have 5 left and plan to use them for my next install. I'm also planning to reuse some of the braids I already have and that don't frizz at the end of wear and after washing Let's get to what you really want to know... Pros: Perfect length, but they seem to be longer than 22 inches (they hit me right in my crevice, I am 5ft 5") Packed with snap hooks and hair charms very, very well packaged, no strong odor. It actually smelled clean. Very well maintained. Individually lightweight (see note below), Natural appearance when installed correctly. Cons: zo pfe are not average, they are rather average. Lol actually no, they are smaller than expected which is probably why I used so many. It's been a week now and they're a little frizzy but that's ok, they still look great. FIRST ARE YOU HARD! Yes, 7-9 packs of hair has some weight. My braid pattern might be a bit tight, but 198 22 inch braids are heavy. After the 3rd day it has eased off a bit but I still feel the weight. · Pre-loop is a joke. Some of them didn't have a damn buttonhole. I crocheted all my pre-twisted or braided hair using a snap hook to pull the end through the loop (much faster). Overall I love braids and plan to order again. This will be my style for the whole summer. ***UPDATE*** I removed my cornrows in just over a month (6 weeks I think) and except for maybe 20 cornrows I can reuse ALL of them. those are good braids. I plan on doing it again at the end of the summer after I've done my passionate turns. This is the only purchase I am happy with.
