These lights are a beautiful vibrant purple. For Halloween 2018, three sets were put together on the street. It worked great until the first rain. One of the stands is faded, that is, barely lit. Then, after a day or two, another strand faded, then a third. This is less than two weeks after purchase. I bought them in mid-October when Halloween was over and I put them in a box hoping they would work next year (2019). Pulled them out and all three are DEAD, dead. Tried to swap out the little fuses. They give you one spare fuse per filament. FYI, each filament needs two fuses to work. Chrome! The fuses are so small that it is impossible to tell a bad fuse from a good one. I changed them one by one, no configuration worked. I even tried replacing the fork entirely on one thread. Nothing worked. I feel completely ripped off. I paid a total of $60 for three and didn't even get a whole season of them. I will never buy again. If it's raining where you are (and I'm sure it is), don't waste your money on these beautiful but horribly bad lanterns.
