We have upgraded an old spring scale to this digital scale. So far it has worked flawlessly. We chose a clear film and are very happy with that choice as it seems to disappear off the floor in our white tiled bathroom. The digital display is on an opaque white strip and is very easy to read. I was concerned about this at first, but after seeing it in person I had no problem reading the weight. With scales, there is no way of knowing how accurate they are. A person's weight fluctuates throughout the day, so you'll need to weigh yourself at the same time each day anyway, based on True Tracking. What I found is that the weight readings appear to be the same as the old, standing, portable office scales my parents own. In fact, it was her scale that told me our old scale might be wrong, as the doctor's scale kept showing I was about 7 pounds heavier than my spring scale at home. This GreaterGoods scale is very similar to a doctor's scale (and certainly makes me work harder and eat less to offset those 7 pounds). Another thing I love is the consistency. If I step on the scale, take the weight, step off and try again in a minute or two, the weight will be the same as it should be. Obviously, my weight shouldn't change in a minute. Even if I put the t-shirt on and weigh myself again, the new weight reflects the shirt's weight. I was also impressed by the GreaterGoods story, which also motivated me to buy this particular model. Very happy with this purchase and I highly recommend it!
