I was afraid it would look too cheap or not be suitable as a birthday present for my wife. The only reason I bought it was the 30 day guarantee and I figured I had enough time to send it back if needed. Now the reason for the purchase is that I bought my wife a 5000 engagement ring with a sapphire as the main stone and wanted to buy her something to complement her ring if she wanted to dress up a bit. I also bought matching earrings. I figured she could wear one or both depending on what she wanted. I also showed it to my mom and her mom before deciding to keep it to myself. I was very impressed with both the earrings and this necklace. They were both navy blue, which matched her ring. The only part I don't know if I liked was the checkerboard pattern on the stone. Other women went oohs and aahs when I showed them to them, so overall I'm very pleased. I don't think it looked cheap. Overall I'm happy with my purchase and I'm sure my wife will be happy too very soon.
