Review on Motrobe Tesla Model Y Glass Roof Sunshade Front & Rear Top Windows Sun Shade Won'T Sag With Skylight Reflective Covers Black Set Of 4 by Gregory Shorunov

Significant cooling effect

Sitting in a parking lot for a few hours, In the Las Vegas, Nevada sun, our Model Y can get toasty warm and with the black interior it can get downright scalding hot. We had a one piece BLACK sunscreen for the already tinted glass roof and it worked fine during the early spring/late fall sun hours, but was ineffective during the hottest summer days. Since installing the Motrobe Sunscreen though, there is a marked difference in the temperature of the cabin and, especially, the seats. Install was easy and took all of 10 minutes. We also installed the reflective insulation material and it cuts sunlight into the cabin (from the roof) to zero and we notice our heads are a lot cooler as we're driving around. Yes, the cabin is still hot when we get into the car, but because the seats haven't been bombarded with UV through the glass roof, the car (and we) cool down a lot faster. We'll remove the reflective insulation when it starts getting cooler to enjoy the glass roof more, but - for now - this is an excellent product to keep cool while driving around or parked in the sun.
