Not what it used to be
I've been buying Pelican cases for a couple of decades, this latest version seems very cheap and not what I'd expect from a nearly two hundred dollar Pelican would have. The clasps are cumbersome and don't feel strong, the plastic is thinner and weaker, and the hinges and handle leave a lot to be desired. The foam is of the same excellent quality. I think now I'll go with Nanuk cases, they're a third cheaper and seem better.
