I was looking for a bluetooth speaker for my deck and this purchase did not disappoint. This speaker is much larger than I expected. The round part of the speaker has a circumference larger than a coffee pot. It's not bad. Overall, the device is beefy and doesn't feel cheap. The speaker itself is a metal construction, and the speaker has a screw on a plastic stand. The legs of the tripod seem to be quite sturdy/sturdy and they are adjustable/extendable with rubber feet. In terms of sound, this speaker is LOUD and CLEAR, even when the volume is turned up. Also, the bass is really strong. I like how the top of the speaker vibrates with the bass; advertised as "bass radiator". This speaker has a USB port for charging devices. It works, but I probably won't use this feature that often. I was hoping the USB would allow me to connect an old iPod (no Bluetooth) but no luck. I believe USB only requires a PC connection and I was able to play a flash drive (FAT formatted) containing MP3s (not MP4s). I don't usually see myself connected to a computer or using a flash drive; I'll just stick with the bluetooth connection. This speaker also features touch lighting (3 levels of brightness). The night light feature wasn't something I really needed, but it's actually quite nice and I expect it to come in handy when the sun goes down. Overall this speaker is pretty good. I let it run all day trying it out and was really impressed with the sound quality. So far I am very happy with this speaker.
