Review on Dorman CS37907 Clutch Slave Cylinder by Chris Cruz

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Gets strong after 2 weeks.

fit and quality of the product seems solid. Clutch action and pedal feel are the same as a factory part, and minimal time is required to bleed the system after installation. The only thing that seemed odd was that the rod that pushes the ejector arm is a slightly different length (longer) and shape (more square than the original at the end that interacts with the ejector plate/arm) than the rod, which was removed . . Since the old slave cylinder rod seemed to fit the ejector plate/lever better, I just swapped it over to the new slave cylinder and dust cover before installing and saved the new rod in case I need it later. This was easy to do as it is not a threaded slave cylinder rod, it simply sits in a cavity on top of the slave cylinder piston with no rigid connection.

Pros
  • gear and gear
Cons
  • frequency
