I have done a lot of research on ultra short throw projector mounts and it was extremely important for us to have one that places the projector as high/close to the ceiling as possible. This one ticks all of our boxes: about 6-6.5 inches to the top of the projector from the top of the projector wall mount. To make it even taller, we built our wall above the false ceiling by placing the projector mount above the ceiling grid. , the installation looks neat and the projector is just a few inches from the ceiling. Installation was easy, the unit is solid and feels reliable. The adjustments were precise and overall we are happy with the product.
