LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE! I have the 3.5ft tall version and it has worked great for me! 1. FLEXIBLE: It's lighter than a 42-inch box, making it easier to transport. It bends to different lengths which is great when I want to separate my dog from certain parts of the house. OR it can be assembled as shown in the picture and turned into a makeshift crate/security area.2. SIZE: I received the recommended 8 panels and it is quite large when opened and assembled as shown in the picture. A 50 pound Lab Retriever puppy and her 80 pound adult mother will fit in comfortably. Even when mom was still feeding all 9 puppies, she and her puppies could fit into this one. Approximately the size of two large boxes when folded into a square or rounded.3. DURABILITY: I've had it outside (in the rain) and inside for about 6 months now. I haven't had any rust problems yet. It's not exactly a box, so yeah, it's a little less durable and secure. But I also think it's important to note that when working with dogs of a certain weight and age, if they want to walk, they will find a way out. A 50 lb puppy can walk and run but I believe this is a problem with the training and not the product. The puppy is now 6 months old and no longer tries to escape. Overall this is a pretty solid device and I would definitely recommend it to people who have puppies.
