Yeah, that's never going to happen with this thing. The comb itself is very small and the chalk is even smaller and crumbles on long or thick hair (and no I didn't use it up and down. I went in one direction, top to bottom as instructed) . To get a purple streak, like a brunette with long hair, you need to use about 7 of them. They are useless for people over the age of 5 with fine, thin baby hair. Not only that, but once you've managed to get some color on your hair, it will fade in minutes and cover EVERYTHING THAT STANDS WITH IT.
