I use them when I'm walking towards the light when taking pictures, which my huge 1k light doesn't require. They are very light and portable to the point where I usually forget I have them in my gear. They are powered via the included USB port and spice up any setup. Lately I've been using them for product photography! Overall I would recommend them, especially for those who need a smaller rig in addition to their larger rig. I think they're great for product photography, food photography/video, and a variety of other creative projects. They are also convenient to use at home!”
