It does not rotate or face down as shown in the pictures. The mechanism is different from the pictures because you can only point the tablet directly at you or point it up. Do not face down with this stand. Unfortunately I wanted to shoot a few reviews with it, but now I can point the tablet downwards. Please change your photos in the description as they are not true. Again, this stand only allows you to point the tablet directly at you or upwards. In this posture there is no downward movement. In addition, it can be extended to a decent height and is quite stable in the carpet.
