My child was not well tolerated in the cradle. We had to hold her until she fell into a deep sleep and then move her very carefully. We put her to bed and thought maybe we could get some sleep...HA. We placed this quilted sheet on top of the Halo Swivel Cradle and Hourglass Mattress and like magic she slept through the night! I kept checking in on her because I was completely amazed at how this could change everything. It's quite soft - almost like sleeping on a bed. It's still safe because it's not very plush or fluffy. Of course, continue to keep a normal watchful eye! But I would say it was a great investment. I intend to order more. Note: It will look too small at first, but once it has set, it fits like a glove!
