is very beautiful. I immediately used this to review footage from the micro SD card used in my DVR. worked fine with no issues on my late 2008 unibody MacBook running an OS released a few iterations ago (sorry, can't remember which one, maybe Yosemite). The LED display on the card reader is good. I didn't try to force the micro SD in, I just pushed gently, I want to make sure it's enough, but it was. It looks like you have a choice: use slots on the side or slots of the same size on the end of the reader, 4 total, 2 each. A short USB cable is great for not blocking adjacent ports. It was a good buy.
