Review on AmazonBasics High Speed Gigabit Ethernet Internet by Linda Rodgers

It claims to be category 7 and has grounded connections but they are not connected (I checked with a category 7 tester and cable toner) so if there is a shield ( I did not cut to check) it's useless. By the time this arrived I was already using another cable (with the shield properly connected) where I wanted shielded cable and had already decided to use this where Cat5e would have been fine. So I'm wasting a few bucks instead of returning it and buying a cheaper cat5e. But if you really need cat7, this is the wrong choice.
