Beautiful - even more beautiful in person. This is the perfect light throw to make any bedroom or living room stand out. The tiny dab of color (red) can actually represent any hue in the color group, depending on what it's paired with. it can be orange, pink, maroon, or even brown. Cotton is incredibly soft. like a duvet certainly warms, but the light material feels soft and dare I say cool at first!? I appreciate that the tassels are not an additional decoration. Instead they are just the unfinished edges of the physical blanket. (Imagine worn denim as it rips/wears out. The threads at the hem grow longer/softens - something like that!) making a very smooth continuation of the entire piece. No tasteless clothespins to drop! When worn and washed, the brushes begin to tangle. I find myself tearing them up when I'm watching TV! (This keeps them from opening for a while.) Washing is difficult! A necessary evil, so I suggest washing your hands with a full wool hat. If not, use the gentlest cycle. and put it in your underwear pocket to avoid tangled edges. Do not dry. The threads are so loose I'm worried they might fall off prematurely. even deform the entire structure of the ceiling. Not as delicate as it looks but requires care to wash! (The only reason for a star deduction.) Overall so pretty and soft - perfect when you need a bit of comfort! adult size. That would be a great gift and I'm sure one of them will be gladly accepted.
