Ten years ago one of my students (I'm a teacher) came to school in bright rubber boots and I've been looking for a pair that would fit me ever since. I recently spoke to another teacher about this conundrum as we stood and watched the rain completely swamp our carpool line and she casually informed me that I would wear a tall child size 6 (I usually wear women's size 7 1/2). . ). Immediately after returning home, I started looking again - and found it. I feel like I'm in a Cinderella story; they're pink, they're shiny, they're glowing and THEY FIT. To tell the truth they are a little roomy and I could have gone with a size 5 BK. I, a 35 year old female, was running around the house in just glowing rubber boots giggling uncontrollably as my husband and son stared at me i was crazy I do not care. I love her. My current students will be green with envy when I wear them to work on Monday. It's supposed to rain all day and I can't wait. The only downside is that they smell absolutely disgusting out of the box. I gave them Febreeze and now they're detoxing on the back porch.
