The pattern is great and the quality is great. My daughters have worn this skirt a million times, washed (and dried) a million times, with no signs of wear. I bought the size 7-8 for my 6 year old daughter knowing she could grow on it over the years (she was barely 4ft). The elasticity is perfect for her and allows her to stretch as she ages. It's thick, opaque, yet thin enough to feel comfortable at 85 degrees. As you can see it's long (to mid-calf) but perfect for church and our conservative camp that we attend.
