This product was exactly what I needed for the first few months! But little did I know that every time I closed my computer, my new MacBook's screen would become looser every time I closed it. Before you tell yourself that you carefully closed your laptop and I slammed it shut, you should know that my computer RARELY leaves the house and I don't have a scratch on the screen. The other day I opened my MacBook to a black screen of death. He's only 5 months old and this is the latest model! I contacted Apple after trying all sorts of software resets and they found a subtle crack in the display. Since this happened due to "accidental damage", it's not covered under the factory warranty. Retina display replacement cost me $700. Please do yourself a favor and use a sticker or other product that costs you no less than $700. I am so disappointed in this product.
