Two of them plugged into the USB port. None of them survived the removal - the light separated from the rest, leaving a metal plug stuck in the USB port. This also happened TWICE. I didn't want to risk a third. I was able to fix this with super glue after carefully removing the piece of metal stuck in my USB port, luckily without shorting out the outlet. If you don't want to risk damaging your USB port and don't want to repair a new product, I recommend something else. With all that, they are as bright as the sun. At least they got that part right.
