MediaPad is a really bad name for it - if you want to watch something, bring headphones.

Okay, here's the thing. This isn't a terrible tablet for CERTAIN purposes. But right off the bat, you will NOT give it to a child as they portray without them reaching for it. This is normal for a very young child, but without headphones it sounds TERRIBLE. All the older ones and kids will just ask if this is a joke because while they will have headphones, this tablet is by no means powerful. Almost anything but social networking and moderately intensive applications will be too slow if running at all. That being said, it's great in certain situations. The screen is large, the resolution is good, for my purpose, namely to set up a control panel for my smart home with Home Assistant, it is sufficient. In that respect he is wonderful. The tablet is powerful enough to run the Home Assistant app with zero latency, no rendering issues even when security cameras are loading on the property, and of course also allows me to use it for YouTubeTV in the kitchen via a Bluetooth speaker . As I said before, jobs are certainly great because of the screen size, resolution and responsive touchscreen. Mine has been running 24/7 with no issues for almost 2 months. In that respect I am satisfied. I'm only deducting 1 star because as I said it's great and worth the cost, it served the purpose I was aiming for but I laid out the rest for you to decide.

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Good but not great
