Looks exactly like the photo and feels very silky. It comes vacuum packed so I recommend washing it and fluffing it in the dryer for maximum fluffiness. Can be expanded very nicely. Covers the entire queen size bed and sides. It feels very luxurious and heavy, but also very light and cooling if, like me, you get hot at night! I love that it's reversible and it's very well made, no seams or anything. It held up well in the washer and dryer and hasn't faded, so I washed it in warm water on a medium setting. Overall, definitely worth it, especially for this price! It is very difficult to find a blanket that actually includes an insert. For the price it's quite expensive and looks like very expensive Betty Johnson bedding.
