I was looking for something to match my son's tie waistcoat we had chosen for his first birthday. That was excellent! I was pleased with the build quality and materials, and the price (I paid just under $10) was very fair. My son has a big head (he's a big boy - in the 90th and 100th percentile for height/weight/head circumference) so it fits him very well even though it's rated for 2-3 year olds. My daughter is 6 years old, she is a very small child; it could probably still fit ;-) The hat has an elastic band almost all the way around, so it should fit quite a lot of head sizes.
