I bought this because I need a shampoo made with natural ingredients and my kids are too old for baby shampoos. I only bought this based on the rave reviews BUT I would return it if I could for two reasons: First, the smell is disgusting. Smells like an unsavory pina colada. The smell of lime is much more dominant than the smell of coconut. It's just not something I want to sniff before I put the kids to bed. Maybe lavender is a better choice. Second, it leaves my daughter's straight but very thick and coarse hair in a terrible state. Instead of feeling smooth and clean after rinsing, her hair feels coarser, tangled and coarse. This brand's conditioner is fantastic, but despite this, her hair is difficult to comb after a bath and her hair is more prone to tangles and tangles for days after washing with this product. My other daughter has fine wavy hair. hair, and her hair responds better to this shampoo, but then I have to get rid of the smell when we use it. I will not buy again.
