Difficult to assemble, works, but be careful.

As someone who has assembled A LOT of furniture and enrolled in a university as a mechanical engineer, I can say this media cabinet serves its purpose, but hardly. I really wasn't expecting too much for the price, the cabinet comes flat packed with a bunch of small shelves and 6 main pieces that make up the sides, top and bottom of the cabinet. The gear stack in the pack looks pretty well organized. Although all parts are marked, the instructions are still rather weak. The chipboard parts are untypically put together with a few wooden dowels and snap fasteners. But particle board splits quite easily and the whole assembly is quite unstable. A few notes: make sure all the raw edges are facing the same side, and also make sure all the side pieces (with the holes for the shelf) are facing in (yep). Some parts may be oriented in multiple positions, so be careful. After assembly, the back panel is the key. You will attach it with nails and I recommend using them as much as possible. It stabilizes the entire body and conceals all design flaws. Once fully assembled it looks great and holds the media well. But I don't think it will last too many moves and definitely cannot be disassembled and reassembled. That being said, you get what you pay for, it looks good and performs well for the money. Don't aim too high and be VERY careful when putting it together and it will serve you well.
