Better than her soft shell.

I bought this bag and a soft bag from the same manufacturer. The soft case doesn't hold the darts in place. This case has a stronger foam liner for the darts and holds them pretty well. Definitely better than a soft case. This suitcase has a lot of storage space, I wish there was more but I knew I would get it so I'm not complaining but if you need storage they have a bigger suitcase. I would give five stars but the foam used to hold the darts is very warped. An easy step to make sure it's straight, but I guess QC doesn't care. In general I am happy with the purchase as I will straighten the foam myself leaving the ROC as it is.
