The bad news is my daughter wants me to buy her one now. So I did. I would like to warn everyone that any product that claims to be heat resistant requires great care. Warm it up first before pouring really hot water into it. I had another one and it cracked when I poured hot water into it and set it on a granite countertop. So I'm more careful and understand that glass is glass and I have no doubt that you can put hot drinks in it. However, do not do this without caution when pouring hot water. I should have known better.
