When they clap they don't make a big sound

I gave them to my daughter for her birthday. I was expecting them to make more noise when they burst. They don't. I was at Walgreens the other day and saw babies with a backpack hook. I tried one and it made a much better popping sound. I bought each of my daughters one for 2.99. They are smaller but better. I would recommend buying one to try. I would request a refund and buy them new ones but unfortunately the return window had expired by the time of their birthday and I found they weren't working as well as the others. Hopefully someone else will benefit from our loss.
